about

This song is about the inflated value we place on our own self made agendas. And how our judgment of other people, and the self righteous punishment we dish out for their perceived transgressions, can become all important - even though our actions are always ultimately futile. It's about how human beings can become pathetic in the face of our own vulnerability. And how we sometimes waste what little time we have together playing emotional power games in an effort to feel a sense of self worth.

lyrics

Whenever you’re done here
Swinging that wrecking ball
And sadness lines your face
Over your shoulder
Don’t wanna talk about ‘em
Left there in your wake

Give my regards to whoever wants them
Give my regards

You would waste it all
You would waste it all
On someone who wants to listen
No one wants to listen

Whatever you’ve broken
Re-constructs itself
To settle in your place
Corner to corner
Cause nobody wants to share
Your self infected rage

Give my regards to whoever wants them
Give my regards

You would waste it all
You would waste it all
On someone who wants to listen
No one wants to listen

You would waste it all
You would waste it all
On someone who wants to listen
No one wants to listen

Hey, nothing I can use
I don’t care about it
Hey, nothing I can use
I don’t care about it

I don’t care about it

Hey, nothing I can use
I don’t care about it
You would waste it all
You would waste it all
On someone who wants to listen
No one wants to listen

Hey, nothing I can use
I don’t care about it
Hey, nothing I can use
I don’t care about it
Hey. nothing
Hey. nothing
Hey, yeah yeah yeah
Hey, nothing I can use
